EDU-SKILLS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Standard Terms and Conditions are established to support the continuity of education and care and to enable the center to plan effectively. To attend the Edu-Skills Center for Education, payment of fees is compulsory. Upon applying for Edu-Skills Center for Education, parents must sign that they will accept the stated terms and conditions and have to declare to fulfill all financial obligations related to the enrolment in the center. This step is included in completing the Application for Admission online.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- We aim to ensure a robust, non-discriminatory, and fair approach to the method by which we deal with parents who have not paid their child’s fees on time.
- The objective of this policy is to ensure there is consistency in terms of approach and
methodology. It is imperative that a standard process exists and that all involved are
aware of this.
- Parents or guardians jointly and severally (where applicable) agree to pay the fees applicable to the Centre’s nominated bank account.
- Fees are due and payable as cleared funds before the commencement of each month to which they relate. Fees are payable by the 28th of each month. If an item on the fees invoice is under query, the ‘undisputed’ balance of that fee invoice must be paid.
- If more than one payment is missed, then the school reserves the right to request the full amount immediately.
- If installments are missed, appropriate action, which could include exclusion, will then be taken.
- If fees are in arrears by the 5th day of the month, the Edu-skills educators have the right to withhold their tuition of the pupil.
PAYMENT OF FEES BY A THIRD PARTY
- An agreement with a third party to pay the fees or any other sum due to the center does not release the parents from liability if the third party defaults and does not affect the operation of any other of these terms and conditions unless an express release has been given in writing, signed by the Headteacher.
HOMEWORK CARE AND TUTORING PAYMENTS
- All payment must be done before homework care or tutoring are done
- The parents shall also be liable to pay all costs, fees disbursements, and charges including legal fees and costs reasonably incurred by the center in the recovery of any unpaid fees regardless of the value of the claim.
Information about fees
- The parents consent to the Centre making inquiries about the pupil’s previous schools for confirmation that all sums due and owing to such schools have been paid.
- The parents also consent to the Centre informing any other school or educational establishment to which the pupil is to be transferred if any Fees of this School are unpaid.
Anti-money laundering:
- From time to time, the School may need to obtain satisfactory evidence such as the sight of a passport of the identity of a person who is paying fees.
Indemnity
- The parents shall indemnify the Centre and all persons related to the Centre against all losses, expenses (including legal expenses), and interest suffered or incurred by the Centre if the Centre is required to repay all or part of any sum paid to it by a third-party credit provider on behalf of the Parents.
